Suspect in Man's Shooting Death ID'd
Authorities say Joseph Montgomery, 34, of Marin City, is considered armed and dangerous.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday released the photo of the suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of man after he attended a memorial service of a friend Marin City.
Authorities say Jermaine Kennedy, 35, was shot multiple times by Joseph Montgomery, 34, of Marin City outside of an apartment at 79 Cole Drive on May 10.
Kennedy was in town for a memorial service of a friend who was also a shooting victim. Kennedy was pronounced dead at Marin General Hospital.

Montgomery is described as a 5-foot-4, 150-pound black man. He is considered as armed an dangerous.
Any one with information on his whereabouts was asked to contact the Marin County Sheriff’s Office or call Bay Area Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.

No motive was given for the shooting.
