Traffic Alert: Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Reopens After Mudslide Closed Roadway
Following a mudslide, Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at Baywood Canyon Road near Fairfax was closed Wednesday.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at Baywood Canyon Road near Fairfax reopened Thursday morning to traffic, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
Following a mudslide, the roadway closed early Wednesday and remain closed throughout the day so crews could clear the scene.
The Marin County Department of Public Works announced on social media late Wednesday that crews aimed to clear road and hillside debris in time for Thursday's morning commute. At 1:16 a.m. Thursday, sheriff's officials announced that the roadway had reopened to all traffic.
