Water Main Break Closes San Anselmo Streets: Police
Breaking: Road closures were in effect as of 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

SAN ANSELMO, CA — Street closures were in effect Thursday afternoon in the Town of Anselmo due to a water main break, police said.
Just after 1:15 p.m., the Central Marin Police Authority sent an advisory stating that roads were closed at 40 Rivera Street, Mountain View Avenue, Beverley Way and Brookside Drive. Marin Municipal Water District crews were on scene to correct the break, and residents were asked to stay away from the area.
Nine homes on Mountain View were without service due to the break, according to Emma Detwiler, spokeswoman for the Marin Municipal Water District.
