Woman Dies In Possible Drowning At San Anselmo Pool

BREAKING: Officials say there is no evidence of foul play.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – The Marin County Sheriff's Office has identified a Richmond woman who is believed to have drowned in a San Anselmo pool Monday as 26-year-old Alexia Fernandez.

The possible drowning at a pool in the 600 block of Red Hill Avenue was reported at 4:20 p.m. Monday.

The Ross Valley Fire Department and Central Marin Police Authority responded, coroner's investigator Kenneth Advincula said. Fernandez was taken to a hospital and died Tuesday, and there is no evidence of foul play, Advincula said.
