1 Arrested, 1 Flees During San Bruno Home Break-In
Despite a search of the area, the second suspect was not located, police said.

SAN BRUNO, CA – One man was arrested and and another individual jumped a fence and got away Friday evening as officers responded to a San Bruno home for a possible residential burglary in progress, according to authorities.
Officers arriving at about 6:51 p.m. to the 100 block of De Soto Way spotted two suspects in the backyard with property purportedly stolen from the house, the San Bruno Police Department said.
Both attempted to flee, with one subject jumping over a fence and running from the area, police said. Despite a search of the area with assistance from other local law enforcement agencies, the person was not located.

Apprehended was 39-year-old Hayward resident Ahmad Faqirzada, the department said. He was arrested on charges of suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and attempting to flee police and was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
