Dear Parents:
On behalf of the San Bruno Lions and the San Bruno community, I would like to congratulate your daughter for being selected as one the 78th Princesses Ladies in Waiting of the Posy Parade. She follows in a long tradition of young girls who have participated in the oldest youth-only, non-motorized floral parade in the nation. The San Bruno Lions Club is proud to be a longtime sponsor of this annual event and is especially happy to be the official escorts of the Posy Parade Princess and Her Court.
The Parade will be held on Sunday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m., and will start at 600 Block San Mateo Avenue at corner of Angus Avenue. We ask that a parent or adult family member accompany your daughter to the starting area NO LATER THAN 10:30 AM. Please look for the Princesses decorated float and Lion members will help you.
Once the parade starts and your daughter is riding on the float, we ask that a parent or adult family member walk along on the sidewalk so you are visible to your daughter. We ask that no family or friends walk in the street during the parade. Once the float reaches City Park, you are asked to accompany your child and pick up her Princess Court trophy and your free lunch.

Starting at 11:00 am at Kains ans San Mateo Ave. the San Bruno Lions club will hold the 78th annual running of the Posy Parade. Come and join your friends and neighbors on June 3 for the annual Posy Parade and Community Day in the Park!
The fun begins with San Bruno Lions Club Posy Parade at 11:00 a.m. followed by City of San Bruno Community Day in the Park at noon at San Bruno City Park. There will be food, entertainment, rides and games – you won’t want to miss out!
Pre-sale ride bands are available at the Recreation Center and City Hall for $10 each before June 3.
