On Friday, December 29, 2017, a robbery occurred on the 800 block of Huntington Avenue in the City of San Bruno. A male suspect approached the victim from behind, pushed him to the ground, and proceeded to punch and kick him several times. The suspect took property from the victim and fled the area, running southbound on Huntington Avenue.

A subsequent investigation identified the suspect a juvenile. The suspect was arrested on January 10, 2018, and booked into the San Mateo County Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Facility for the charge of robbery. The suspect’s name is not being released due to his age.

SUBJECT: Residential Burglary

CASE NUMBER: 1800097

DATE OCCURRED: January 10, 2018

TIME OCCURRED: 2:30 p.m.

On January 10, 2018, at 2:30 p.m., officers from the San Bruno Police Department responded to the 2500 Block of Heather Lane regarding the report of a residential burglary.

The resident told officers that sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on January 10, 2018, unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and took miscellaneous property. There was no evidence of forced entry into the residence.

SUBJECT: Hit and Run Traffic Collision with Injury

CASE NUMBER: 1800109

DATE OCCURRED: January 11, 2018

TIME OCCURRED: 7:01 p.m.

On Thursday, January 11, 2017 at 7:01 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the report of a traffic collision on Herman Street at Scott Street. Officers determined that a pedestrian was crossing Herman Street in a marked crosswalk, when a white sedan driving northbound on Herman Street failed to come to a complete stop at the intersection, and struck the pedestrian. The white sedan then fled by continuing northbound on Herman Street. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a small white sedan with a multi colored company logo on the front driver side door.
