Layers of Life in the Redwoods presentation at Memorial Park, July 19, 10-1.
A variety of events are being planned to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Memorial Park, the first San Mateo County Park.Celebrate the Memories, Restore the Glory and Preserve for the Future.
The second in the series of these activities is a presentation, Layers of Life in the Redwood Ecosystemby Deborah Zierten, Save the Redwoods League's Education & Interpretation Manager, followed by an easy hike. The event is Saturday July 19 from 10am -1 pm. Vehicle entry fees apply.
Make sure you stop by and see the refurbished displays in the Henry Bloomquist Nature Center. Take advantage of the picnic sites by bringing a picnic to enjoy after the event. Find out the details and timing here.
