On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at approximately 10:42 P.M., San Bruno Police Officers initiated an enforcement stop of a vehicle in the area of Kains Avenue and Mills Avenue in San Bruno, as a result of a vehicle code violation.
A subsequent investigation revealed that the driver, thirty-one year old Christian Navarette of San Bruno, was driving under the influence of alcohol and while his license had been suspended for a prior DUI conviction. A search of Navarette and the vehicle he had been driving revealed that he was also in possession of cocaine for the purpose of sales.
Navarette was booked into San Mateo County Jail for charges related to DUI, driving with a suspended driver’s license, and the possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sales.
