On Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 4:10 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the report of a disturbance in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Herman Street in San Bruno.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a group of people involved in the disturbance had fled the area in a vehicle. Officers located the involved vehicle a short distance away and contacted five occupants inside. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded .22 caliber handgun within the passenger compartment. The firearm was unregistered.
All five occupants of the vehicle, one juvenile and four adults, were arrested for charges related to illegal possession of a firearm.
