On Saturday, June 28, 2014, beginning at 6:30 AM and continuing into the afternoon, there will be a series of 5 charity bicycle ride events in San Mateo County.
All events begin and end at several locations in Pacifica and start at staggered times, travel south through the Devil's Slide tunnel, and then take various routes down Highway 1 and throughout the coast, as far south as Pescadero and as far east as Millbrae, Belmont, Hillsborough and Woodside.
There will be some traffic control by CHP in the tunnel in the morning, but no roads will be closed.
Expect to encounter heavier-than-normal bicycle traffic throughout the day, primarily on the coast. Use caution. Visit www.girodipacifica.org for more details.
