Brothel Bust in San Bruno: Police Nab 5 in Prostitution Sting, Agency Says

An undercover operation led to the arrest of five people at a "house of ill repute," police said.

SAN BRUNO, CA – A recent undercover San Bruno police investigation led to the discovery of a brothel in town, with "numerous individuals" involved, police say.

According to San Bruno Police Sgt. Scott Luciano, the department had received several anonymous complaints about a "house of ill repute" in the 2800 block of Fleetwood Drive. So on Friday afternoon, detectives headed out to the location and conducted a sting at the suspected brothel, he said.

"This investigation revealed that numerous individuals encountered at the location were involved in facilitating acts of prostitution, supervising and aiding with prostitution, residing at a home of ill fame, and engaging in an act of prostitution," Luciano said in a news release.

San Francisco residents Tony May, 53 and Yong-Jing Fu, 30, and South San Francisco resident Fu Yue Huang, 27, were arrested on suspicion of operating the brothel, Luciano said.

Police also arrested San Bruno resident Xiao Run Kuang, 26, who was apparently living at the home. Heng Hui Tian, 26, of San Bruno, was arrested on suspicion of engaging in an act of prostitution.
