Containment Grows On San Bruno Mountain Fire
The three-alarm fire burned six acres at San Bruno Mountain State & County Park, according to fire officials.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Fire crews worked for hours on Friday to contain a six-acre brush fire at the top of San Bruno Mountain.
The blaze had been 50 percent contained as of 4:20 p.m. after burning 6.1 acres, according to Cal Fire. Crews will stay on the scene through Saturday morning.
The three-alarm fire burned near the picnic area at San Bruno Mountain State and County Park, according to a county alert.

A total of 60 firefighters from multiple agencies were at the scene, and had a control line around the blaze by 1 p.m., authorities said. Investigators were also at the scene, looking into the cause.
