“YouTube employees are central in our thoughts today as details of the horrifying attack by the armed intruder at their campus continue to emerge. We are proud of the swift actions of our first responders, led by the San Bruno Police Department with San Bruno firefighters alongside, and joined by fire and public safety units from our neighboring communities and the county, as well as federal authorities. We are also proud of the individuals who aided evacuating workers with acts of kindness that showed how our community stands together in times of crisis,” said state Senator Jerry Hill, D-San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.
