Planning a Halloween night for a large group can be complicated. One person wants to dance, someone else wants to find drink specials and another person wants to stop for food. The San Francisco Halloween Pub Crawl makes it easier by bringing all of those options together in one multi-bar event.
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, CrawlSF will launch its four-day Halloween Pub Crawl with more than 20 participating locations. The event runs from 4PM to 10PM and begins at Mayes Oyster House, located at 1233 Polk Street.

Every participant must check in at Mayes to collect an official event wristband. Once the group has completed check-in, everyone can begin visiting the participating bars. The event does not use a fixed tour schedule, so groups can choose their own stops and change plans as the night continues.
The October 24 bar list includes Union Street Ale House, Route 101, El Lopo, Rick & Roxy’s, Hanaro, The Blue Light, Jaxson, Decodance, Beso Mae, Mayes Oyster House, Lush Lounge, R Bar, Uni Pizza, Wizards & Wands, Campus, White Rabbit, Silver Cloud, Music City Starfactory, Sacred Taco, Comet Club, Rockwell, McTeague’s Saloon and Westwood.
This range of locations helps solve one of the biggest problems with group outings. Everyone does not have to agree on a single bar for the entire night. The group can move around, experience different settings and select the locations that work best for everyone.
Participants who want music and dancing can seek out locations featuring DJs. Guests who prefer casual bars can find places where it is easier to talk and spend time with friends. Food stops are also included in the participating lineup, providing opportunities to take a break during the six-hour event.

Because the event takes place on October 24, groups do not have to compete with every other Halloween plan scheduled for October 31. They can celebrate early and still attend another party the following weekend. Guests can even use the opening event for a group costume and choose individual costumes for Halloween night.
The full CrawlSF series continues with events on October 30, October 31 and November 1. Attending October 24 provides access to the opening event. Admission to other dates will depend on the ticket type purchased.
CrawlSF will also be trying to build on its record-setting 2025 Halloween event. After breaking the World’s Largest Pub Crawl record, the company hopes to break its own record in 2026. Every group that participates on opening day will help start that effort.
