Car Crash Leads To Man's Arrest On Gun, Drug Charges In San Bruno
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of several gun- and drug-related charges after he got into a crash in San Bruno, police said.
SAN BRUNO, CA β A two-car crash in San Bruno resulted in the arrest of one of the drivers for drug possession, holding a concealed firearm and driving under the influence of drugs, police said.
Police responded at 1:55 a.m. Sunday to a reported collision in the area of San Bruno Avenue and Highway 101.
They determined that one of the drivers, Kevin Eliseo Chavez, 34, of San Francisco, was driving under the influence, had a loaded, concealed and unregistered firearm, and had narcotics intended to be sold, according to police.

Chavez was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance for sales and illegal possession of a firearm.
