County Supervisor Speaks Against Trump Ban on Transgender Military Members

From the Office of Supervisor David J. Canepa: Transgender service members are an integral part of the world’s strongest fighting force, the U.S. Military, and always will be. President Trump’s so-called ban against them will not stand. We must rise up, we must express our outrage, we must march together toward equality and inclusiveness. Love and compassion will rule the day – not ignorance and bigotry. There are no obstacles in life too overwhelming to overcome in the presence of faith.
