Couple in Gold Jaguar Suspected of Robbery, Fleeing Police

BREAKING: Pacifica officers are seeking the pair who allegedly sped off on Highway 1 into San Francisco.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA – Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly committed a strong-armed robbery Friday night in Pacifica before leading officers on a vehicle chase, police said.

At 8:05 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Crespi Drive to investigate a report of a strong-armed robbery. According to police, two suspects used physical force to steal the victim's cellphone, resulting in
minor injuries to the victim.

After the robbery, the suspects entered a gold Jaguar with white or yellow paper license plates and damage to the rear bumper, and fled north on state Highway 1, police said.

A police officer located the vehicle on Highway 1 near Monterey Road and followed the vehicle until other officers arrived to assist.

Officers followed the vehicle to 7th and Bryant streets in San Francisco, at which point officers with the California Highway Patrol attempted to conduct a traffic stop.

The suspects fled to avoid the traffic stop, and a brief chase ensued, but officers soon lost sight of them. The suspects remain at large and police are investigating the incident.

One suspect is described as a black man, about 35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 210 pounds, salt and pepper hair, a full beard, wearing blue jeans and a North Face jacket. The second suspect is described as a black female wearing a pink shirt.
