Latest Update From Design Tech High School
Location
Currently, we are still planning on co-locating at Mills High School for the upcoming school year. Yet, at the June 19th San Mateo Union High School District board meeting, district staff raised the possibility of having d.tech use the ROP building located at 1800 Rollins Road in Burlingame. We would strongly consider this location, were it to become available, because it would not substantially change the logistics of parents bringing students to school, it has more flexible classroom space, and eliminates many of the operational issues involved with co-location. We will keep you updated, but district staff should know if this is an option by the end of the month.

What do all of these accomplishments have in common? These are just a few of the achievements of the Design Tech High School teaching staff. Rob Bolt (Econ teacher) and Ryan Clark (Physics teacher) have been on board for some time now. And we recently hired one of our two math teachers: Sook Lee, whom some of you got to meet at our last info session. This leaves our second math teacher as the only teaching position left to hire. We know that the student experience will be most impacted by the quality of the adults on the campus and are very excited to have attracted such accomplished teachers.
