Jim Smyth will discuss COLOR THEORY with a demonstration on the practical use of colors on Saturday, January 20, 2018, 1:00-3:00 pm at the SWA Fine Art Center, 527 San Mateo Ave., San Bruno. All demonstrations are free and open to the public.

Jim Smyth received his degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1972 and holds the California Community College Certificate and an Adult Education Certificate. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor of
Drawing at the College of San Mateo. He is an authority on the materials of painting and drawing, techniques of traditional drawing and painting, color theory, perspective and anatomy for artists. In his career in Life
Drawing, Jim has made over two hundred thousand drawings from the model.
