SAN BRUNO CA — A 29-year-old Peninsula motorist was arrested over the holiday weekend after allegedly fleeing the scene of a possible DUI-related crash at a San Bruno intersection, according to authorities.
Officers responded Saturday at 4:05 p.m. to Sneath Lane and Seabiscuit Lane for a hit-and-run collision report, the San Bruno Police Department said.
Police said two vehicles collided in the intersection, and the driver of the car, who "caused the collision" fled the area, police said. However, a witness reportedly followed the suspect to the 1400 block of San Mateo Avenue, where officers located the vehicle and made the arrest, officials said.
