Entire Cash Register Taken In San Bruno Burglary: Cops

Breaking: Police are looking for whomever burglarized a local restaurant this week.

SAN BRUNO, CA — San Bruno police are looking for a thief who broke into a local business, grabbed a cash register and took off running this week. It happened late Tuesday night at a restaurant in the 500 block of West San Bruno Avenue, near El Camino Real, according to San Bruno Police Lt. Troy Fry.

"Officers learned that an unidentified suspect broke the glass portion of a door to gain access to the business," Fry said in a news release. "The suspect took a cash register from the business and fled the scene."

Officials aren't sure of the exact time of the crime, but believe it happened between 10:38 p.m. and 11:35 p.m.
