Trail Center Workday

Trail work at Junipero Serra County Park, February 5 on the
Quail Loop Trail

Activities: The February build will focus on some of the trails in the Northeast part of the park. Water flows down the trail, it hasn't been brushed in a very long time, and the tread is in terrible condition. Due to the great turnout of volunteers on previous workdays, this will be our last trailbuild at Junipero Serra, and our last chance to enjoy the spectacular views from this park.

Prior trail maintenance experience is not required. Bring sunscreen, water, trail snacks, and lunch. Wear boots, long sleeve shirts, and long pants to protect against poison oak. The Trail Center provides gloves, tools, training, and refreshments after the workday.

Meet at 8:30am for safety training and crew assignments. We stop for lunch on the trail, then work until 3 pm. For directions & other details, see the trailcenter.org project page.
