Four Pounds Of Pot, 'Significant Amount' Of Cash Found In San Bruno Traffic Stop: Police
BREAKING: Police say the driver was then let go "...on his written promise to appear in court for this offense."

SAN BRUNO, CA – San Bruno police made a large discovery upon executing a traffic stop in town this week, finding multiple pounds of pot and a stash of cash, police report. According to San Bruno police, officers made the stop in the area of El Camino Real and Jenevein Avenue around 11:37 p.m. Monday.
"During a search of the vehicle, officers located approximately four pounds of marijuana and a significant amount of US currency," police said in a news release.
The driver, identified as 29-year-old Quan Vy of San Francisco, was ultimately arrested on charges of possession of marijuana for sale, police said.

"Vy was then issued a citation and released on his written promise to appear in court for this offense," police said.
