Help our students against the dreaded "$191"
San Bruno's public school children need your help! Presenting a tasteful fundraising event! April 14th from 4pm to 11pm, Chili's San Bruno.
San Bruno’s 2,600 public school children need your help. The San Bruno Fundraisers Group along with the assistance of The San Bruno Education Foundation (SBEF) are working hard to raise $191,000 by May 15, 2015.
These funds will save four teaching positions for this year and three more the following year (7 teachers total). If we succeed....
- Kindergarten through 3rd grade classrooms will be reduced from 31 students to about 20 students.
- Many of these classrooms with 31 students will no longer have to be split classes. For example, one teacher won’t have to teach both 1st and 2nd grade children and curriculum in the same room.
How can you help? On Tuesday April 14th, Rollingwood Elementary is hosting a “Dining” event at Chili’s in San Bruno, from 4pm to 11pm. For all of the customers who mention “Rollingwood Fundraiser” or bring in a flyer copy, a percentage of the proceeds are donated to help, “Save our Schools”.

This is a great way to show your support, enjoy good company and a great meal all while working to secure our school childrens’ educational future. Why cook and clean, when you can dine out and support our Future.
We are hosting several other dining opportunities during the month of April, so keep checking the Patch for further information.
