San Bruno Police Chief Barberini, the 2018 President of the San Mateo County Police Chiefs and Sheriff Association, will serve as Master of Ceremonies at this event which will be held on the steps of the San Mateo County History Museum located at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City.
May 13, 2018, through May 19, 2018, is National Police Week. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as Peace Officer Memorial Day to commemorate all law enforcement officers who have given their lives in the line of duty. Each year the San Mateo County Police Chiefs and Sheriff Association participates in a Fallen Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony to honor those officers who have been killed in the line of duty in our county.
