Identity Theft Suspects Nabbed In Parked Car In San Bruno

Police say the duo were in possession of "several" documents in others' names.

SAN BRUNO, CA — San Bruno police recently arrested two out-of-state men on suspicion of identity theft after they were found in a parked car full of fraudulent credit cards and "several other documents in other people's names," officials said Tuesday.

Police contacted the two men around 10:34 a.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Bayhill Drive — which is near El Camino Real and I-380, according to Lt. Ryan Johansen. That's when they searched the vehicle and allegedly found the fake credit cards and documents in others' names.

"The two subjects, identified as twenty-five year old Gregory Greene and twenty-seven year old Alex Soler, residents of Seffner, Florida, were arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to the possession of false identification, identity theft, and the production and possession fraudulent access cards," Johansen said.
