It is with great pleasure that I introduce Christine Kohl-Zaugg as Sustainable San Mateo County's new Executive Director.

A long-time San Mateo County resident, she is a seasoned sustainability professional with a strong background in environmental sciences. For 15+ years, Christine has worked at environmental consultancies advising clients on how to manage their sustainability programs and strategies, has experience working for the government and has launched several start-ups. She is passionate about finding solutions by involving key stakeholders, is a strong proponent of design thinking and of looking at issues from a holistic perspective. Christine is looking forward to working with all of you as we shape together Sustainable San Mateo County's impactful next chapter! She welcomes your support, ideas and continued commitment to the organization.
