San Bruno CA's Kerry Burns of the Community Service Department has retired after over 8 years of service to the City.

Comments from her prepared words and selected photos of many of those present in City Hall Friday March 2 2018 to say thanks Kerry and to wish her well.

Government, and especially Local Government, plays an indispensable and elemental role, often with insufficient resources and sometimes insurmountable challenges, in improving and enhancing the everyday lives of citizens. Local Government is one of the bedrocks of a thriving and just community and society. It has been my profound privilege and pleasure to play a role, however small, in ensuring it realizes this promise.

Serving the residents of San Bruno has been one of my career highlights. I will forever be grateful to have worked under the leadership of City Manager Connie Jackson and with the talented and committed members of the Community Services Department and City’s Executive Management Team on the vision of the City Council and members of the Parks and Recreation Commission, Culture and Arts Commission and Senior Citizens Advisory Board.
