Large San Bruno House Party Lands Felon With A Gun Behind Bars, Police Say
Police say they were investigating a large local house party when they contacted a vehicle associated with the festivities.

SAN BRUNO, CA – A convicted felon was caught with a loaded, concealed gun as he apparently left a large house party in San Bruno recently, police report. Twenty-four-year-old Jermaine Lee Hicks Jr. was stopped near the scene of the party on Thursday night and ultimately arrested on charges related to the possession of a concealed loaded firearm by a convicted felon.
Police say that at about 11:55 p.m. Thursday, officers went to the 300 block of Goodwin Drive to investigate reports of a house party with approximately 200 people in attendance. Officers pulled over a vehicle that was "associated with the party" nearby.
"Officers initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle associated with the party on the 100 block of Allen Drive," police said in a news release. "One of the subjects... was found to be in possession of a loaded concealed firearm."

Soon officers also determined that the man, Hicks, had also been previously convicted of felonies, including the illegal sale of a firearm, according to police.
Officers arrested Hicks on suspicion of several charges related to allegedly being a felon in possession of a loaded, concealed firearm.
