Police say the man resisted arrest.

SAN BRUNO, CA — San Bruno police caught a burglar trying to steal from a local business late Sunday night, police announced Tuesday. The man was allegedly caught inside a shop at the Shops at Tanforan mall.

It happened around 11:55 p.m. Sunday at the mall, which is located at 1150 El Camino Real, according to San Bruno Police Lt. Ryan Johansen. Police responded to a call for a "commercial burglary in progress" and found 31-year-old Randy Huntington at the location, according to the lieutenant.

"A subsequent investigation revealed that Huntington had been in the process of burglarizing the business," police said in a news release. "He was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to burglary, possession of burglary tools, and resisting arrest."
