Man Hit By Vehicle In SMC Crosswalk
Police say the driver is cooperating with their investigation.

PACIFICA, CA — A person was recently hit by a car in Pacifica but was expected to survive, police said Tuesday. The incident happened around 9 p.m. Friday as a man was trying to cross Skyline Boulevard.
"Officers and medical personnel responded, and determined that the collision involved a 21-year-old male crossing State Route-35 in the southern crosswalk of the intersection," police said in a news release. "The pedestrian was struck by a motorist turning onto southbound State Route-35 from westbound King Drive."
Despite being hit by the vehicle, the man's injuries were not listed as life-threatening.

"The pedestrian reported complaints of pain and was transported via ambulance to an area hospital for further examination and treatment," police said.
The driver that hit the man stuck around and was cooperating with police.
