Man Who Died Following San Bruno BART Garage Crash Identified
The deadly incident happened in the parking garage outside the San Bruno BART station, officials said.

SAN BRUNO, CA — A man who was hit and killed in a San Bruno parking structure last week has been publicly identified. He was 54-year-old Ernest Lum of Millbrae, according to the San Mateo County coroner's office.
Lum was waking in the BART station's parking garage when he was hit by someone driving a 1997 Ford Expedition around 8:50 a.m. Thursday, according to BART officials.
"San Bruno and BART Police responded to the scene," BART said in a news release following the incident. "The driver of the Ford Expedition remained on the scene after the collision and was cooperative with investigators."

Paramedics rushed Lum to San Francisco General Hospital after the collision, but he died there a short time later, officials said.
No other information about the collision was immediately released by BART.
