SUBJECT: Massage Business Compliance Checks / Prostitution Arrest

On Tuesday, May 29, 2018, officers from the San Bruno Police Department conducted inspections at massage businesses located within the City of San Bruno to observe and enforce compliance with building, fire, and health regulations, as well as applicable regulations, laws, and statutes. Officers also checked for illicit prostitution activity by conducting undercover operations.

Officers arrested 52 year old massage therapist Po Chu Wu of Daly City for prostitution at a business located on the 400 block of E. San Bruno Avenue. In addition, officers discovered municipal code violations at several other massage businesses. Those violations are being referred to the City Attorney’s Office.
