In Memory of Carol Bonner
City of San Bruno’s beloved City Clerk Carol Bonner passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018. Carol was elected to serve as San Bruno’s City Clerk for over 12 dedicated years and was recently appointed to the position in an interim appointment after the position moved from an elective to an appointive position.
Carol was the charismatic person that would greet visitors to City Hall. She would immediately make friends with everyone she met, and had a passion for the San Bruno community. Carol stayed very close and involved with her many social and professional networks while keeping her family as top priority. Because of her shining personality, she was appointed to the “Sunshine” role for the City Clerk’s Association of California sharing her hospitality with City Clerks throughout the State.

May Carol’s legacy continue long into the future. Flags have been lowered at City facilities in Carol’s honor through the conclusion of funeral services.
