Peninsula Man Arrested For Alleged Stolen Firearm

Yagnner Gomez Lorzano, 31, of South San Francisco, was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of a firearm.

SAN BRUNO, CA -- Police in San Bruno on Wednesday arrested a man in connection with crimes related to possession of drugs and possession of a stolen firearm. Yagnner Gomez Lorzano, 31, of South San Francisco, was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sale, according to the San Bruno Police Department.

On Wednesday, an officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the area of Second Avenue and Walnut Street in San Bruno.

During the subsequent search of the vehicle, police discovered a loaded handgun concealed in the passenger compartment of the vehicle, marijuana and cocaine.
