Random Shooting Sends Bullet Into San Bruno Home: Police
"It is not believed that the home or occupants were specifically targeted," police said of the incident.

SAN BRUNO, CA – San Bruno police are investigating a shooting that sent at least one bullet into a local residence over the weekend, the agency reports.
According to Lt. Troy Fry, the incident was discovered around 10 a.m. Saturday at a home on Shelter Creek Lane. However, police believe the shooting actually happened sometime during the night prior, and that the shot was fired from Interstate 280.
What's more, police say "it is not believed that the home or occupants were specifically targeted."

"The occupants and surrounding neighbors did not hear or see anything related to this incident," according to the lieutenant.
No injuries were reported.

Following the discovery of the shooting, I-280 was briefly closed in the area as police searched for evidence connected to the case-- however, none was found, Fry said.
