SamTrans Routes 292, 397 Changed Due to Emergency Retrofit

Starting Monday, May 21, due to an emergency retrofit on the canal bridge in South San Francisco, South Airport Boulevard and North Access Road will be closed to traffic until December of this year. SamTrans Routes 292 and 397 are affected by this this closure, and will be detoured until the roads are reopened. Delays can be expected due to the changes necessary for the route.

The bus stops located at South Airport Boulevard and Belle Air Road, and South Airport Boulevard and Utah Avenue will also be closed to accommodate the temporarily reconfigured route. Riders will be able to board at the North Access Road east of South Airport Boulevard, and at South Airport Boulevard at the South San Francisco Conference Center for northbound trips and the Four Points by Sheraton for southbound.

Riders can call our Customer Service Center at 1-800-660-4287 for specific route information as they plan their trips.
