SamTrans Seeking Public Feedback on Express Bus Study
SamTrans is studying the possibility of new express bus service through San Mateo County, to San Francisco and Santa Clara counties, and the agency wants to hear your thoughts.
Over the next two weeks, residents up and down the Peninsula will have five opportunities at various community events to have their voices heard. SamTrans wants to hear from current and potential riders about creating express bus service that meets their needs.

An express bus is a transit service designed to travel faster than traditional “local” services to popular commuter destinations while making fewer stops.
Since April 2017, the study team has completed a detailed market analysis and identified 15 potential express bus routes throughout the three-county study area. The ultimate goal is a network of four to six routes to be considered for a potential phased implementation. The study team will compile research, analysis, and the results of the community input into a final report by fall 2018.
