My bill, AB 44, to ensure fair and accessible recounts for all California voters and candidates was recently signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown. Assembly Bill 44 will provide a state-funded, full manual recount option at the discretion of the Governor for any statewide office or ballot measure where the margin of victory is 0.015% or 1,000 votes, whichever is lower.

Please join me for a cup of coffee and share your thoughts on AB 44 and other legislative issues important to you.
