San Bruno CA: First Candidate To Declare For November 2015 Election
You can pull papers starting July 13th thru Aug 7th from City Clerk's office

Marty Medina, Garden Avenue gave the following remarks at the June 23rd 2015 San Bruno City Council meeting.
Good Evening Honorable Mayor, Council, Staff, and guests.
During the last two council meetings I have asked about the hotel negotiations and how the city council voted to give almost $4 million to a billion dollar developer. I would be in favor of a hotel if it did not include public funds. I was approached by Ryan Mrsnry, regarding the hotel financing and he has provided a list to the city with many more questions. Please answer these questions in a public format and help the community understand how the city determined the need to provide almost $4 million in public assistance. Most importantly the property appears to be worth much more than $1.4 million. Perhaps it is best to sell the property and take the profits and use them for what the Community really wants.

On June 29th, here in the senior center, at 06:30, the San Bruno Community Foundation, will be presenting their survey results from three community meetings on how to spend $70 million. I am sure we will see a renovated pool, and library, support for schools, an improved downtown, a new community civic center, upgraded ballfields, parks, and new internet fiber, and not a publicly funded hotel.
In the remaining time I have left I would like to announce my candidacy for the San Bruno City Council. I believe our community has it right and I look forward to the survey. This is what the community wants and I will work relentlessly to achieve these improvements.
