Hello everyone,

My family joined me this morning to pick up the paperwork for San Bruno City Council candidates. After meeting with our City Clerk, Carol Bonner, we visited with a number of my former co-workers. As we were leaving we saw Councilman Ken Ibarra, and I made sure to let him know I hope to work with him to improve San Bruno. In fact I am
committed to working with everyone. The truth is we all have different ideas and priorities on what is best. However I believe it is time for a fresh view with a renewed commitment to giving San Bruno residents what they want... something better... whether it is the library, our schools, the pool, the recreation center, or downtown. It is time to improve these community assets and many others identified in the San Bruno Community Foundation survey. http://sanbruno.ca.gov/Glenview_notforprofit.html

Today was important for my family and I want to express my gratitude to them. Thank you Jeannette and Max for your understanding, patience, and sacrifice as I spend the next three and a half months campaigning for a better San Bruno. You both have already experienced my absence in the last months for numerous meetings: City Council, San Bruno Park School District, San Bruno Community Foundation, San Bruno Education Foundation, and various School Fundraiser meetings. At each of these meetings I spoke out in favor of better schools, reducing
developmental impacts to our community, improving government transparency, accountability, and improving our City’s infrastructure in a sustainable manner.

San Bruno, this campaign is going to be long and tough and I need your help and votes. Thank you for your “likes”, visits, and encouraging words. Please contact me if you also want to make an everlasting and positive change in improving our community.
