On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at approximately, 10:00 PM, San Bruno Police Officers responded to the report of an armed robbery in the parking lot of Tanforan Mall.
The ensuing investigation revealed the suspect, described as a black make adult, 20-24 years old, had robbed the victim with a semi-automatic firearm. The suspect fled the area with the firearm and is yet to be located or identified.
During the course of the investigation, twenty-six year old San Francisco resident Isaiah Lim was contacted at the scene. A loaded semi-automatic handgun was found to be in Lim’s possession. A records check revealed that the handgun had been reported stolen in another jurisdiction. Lim was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to the possession of a stolen firearm.
