On Friday, July 7, 2017, at approximately 5:20 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the 3100 block of Geoffrey Drive regarding the report of an assault with a deadly weapon. A subsequent investigation revealed that two drivers were involved in a road rage incident. During the altercation, one of the drivers exited his vehicle and was struck by the other vehicle. The suspect vehicle fled the area and the victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect in this case is described as a white male in his 30’s, with a shaved head and a beard. The suspect vehicle is described as a silver Honda hatchback. The suspect vehicle’s rear passenger window is believed to be broken and covered with a black plastic material.

SUBJECT: Shooting Into an Inhabited Dwelling

On Sunday, July 9, 2017, at approximately 9:15 p.m., a resident on Glenview Drive reported that a window was shattered and they had found a projectile in an interior wall of their home. Officers arrived and determined that a bullet, fired from a significant distance, had traveled through a window and lodged inside a wall. The residents of the home do not appear to have been targeted, and it is believed that this bullet was fired from a considerable distance away in a random and reckless manner.

The San Bruno Police Department’s Investigative Services Section is investigating this case. Anyone with any information pertaining to this investigation is urged to contact the San Bruno Police Department at (650)616-7100 or sbpdtipline@sanbruno.ca.gov.
