Foundation to Recognize 2018 Crestmoor Scholars
The Foundation's Board of Directors will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. The evening will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. in honor of the 2018 recipients of the Crestmoor Neighborhood Memorial Scholarship, followed by the Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m. Both events will be held at the San Bruno Senior Center, 1555 Crystal Springs Road. The agenda is posted at the end of this email blast, and members of the public are welcome to attend. Please join us in celebrating the 2018 Crestmoor Scholars!
The meeting will begin with a formal presentation to the Crestmoor Scholars. The meeting will also include a report from the Investment Committee, a discussion on strategic grantmaking budget constraints, a presentation from the San Bruno Park School District superintendent and consideration of an education strategic grant proposal, and updates on the Music Education Strategic Initiative, the Community Grants Fund, and various strategic initiatives in partnership with the City of San Bruno. The Board will also consider the fiscal year 2018-2019 budget.
The complete Board meeting packet, including the agenda for the special meeting, is available for download at www.sbcf.org/meetings. A hard copy of the complete packet will be available for public review with the City Clerk at San Bruno City Hall and at the San Bruno Public Library.
The Board very much encourages, appreciates, and values your attendance and participation at our Board meetings. As is our practice, we will send out a summary of the meeting's highlights in our June e-newsletter, which will also be posted on our website at www.sbcf.org/newsletters.

Share Your Vision for the New Recreation and Aquatics Center
The City of San Bruno, with the assistance of Group 4 Architecture, Research + Planning, Inc., is hosting a variety of opportunities for San Bruno community members to give input on the vision for a new community recreation and aquatics center in San Bruno City Park. Thank you to those who have already participated in the first round of surveys and community meetings – we received over 1,100 responses!
The Foundation plans to dedicate $50 million to fund the design and construction of the new center, including this first conceptual design phase. The City is managing all aspects of this important community project.
Community Survey #2
We hope that you will participate in a second survey for the project, providing the design team and City with valuable input on the conceptual design and exterior landscape options. Your input and involvement counts! The survey should only take a few minutes to complete and includes a short summary of the results from the first round of outreach.
You can also stop by the project display at Community Day on June 3 to give your input.
Thank you for your participation in this exciting project!
