Leta Land passed away on Oct. 11, 2013 at the age of 91. Leta spent time as "Rosie The Riveter" eventually becoming a journeyman welder in the boilermakers union. She joked that she could "Cuss just like the rest of them!" She also owned a restaurant, worked at Itel McCullough, Eimac, Sears, Spice Island, Smallcomb Chevrolet, R.M.K.-B.R.J. and the Department of Navy during the Viet Nam War. She is survived by her son.
