San Bruno Massage Parlor Sting Nets Prostitution Arrest: Police

Police say they conducted an undercover operation this week.

SAN BRUNO, CA — Police in San Bruno this week arrested a massage therapist in connection with prostitution during a compliance check and sting operation, officials said Thursday.

According to San Bruno police, they headed out to multiple massage business on Tuesday "to observe and enforce compliance with building, fire, and health regulations, as well as applicable regulations, laws, and statutes."

"Officers also checked for illicit prostitution activity by conducting undercover operations," police said in a news release.

Po Chu Wu, 52, of Daly City, was ultimately arrested on suspicion of prostitution, according to the San Bruno Police Department.

The officers also discovered municipal code violations at several other massage businesses during the operation, police said.
