On Thursday, January 18, 2018, at 4:26 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the Starbucks Coffee Shop located at the Shops at Tanforan to investigate a disturbance.
Officers determined a strong-arm robbery had occurred. A subject had forcibly taken merchandise from an employee at the business and fled the mall on foot.
Officers later located thirty-six year old Pierre Wilkes, who was identified as the subject who had committed this crime. Wilkes was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for robbery charges. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
