San Bruno Police Arrest 25 For Illegal Fireworks

Police said they fielded over 170 calls about illegal fireworks over the course of July 4.

SAN BRUNO, CA — San Bruno police made 25 arrests on July 4 in connection to illegal fireworks, police reported.

Police said they fielded over 170 calls about illegal fireworks over the course of the day, and located one firearm during an arrest.

Officers said they also seized over 300 pounds of illegal fireworks and responded to a small fireworks-related fire at Lion's Field at 1 First Ave.

Police did not report any injuries related to arrests or fire.
