San Bruno Police Hosting 'Tip-A-Cop' Fundraiser

Police will wait tables and collect tips for charity at the April 26 event.

SAN BRUNO, CA – San Bruno police will soon be waiting tables for charity at a special event to support a special cause. The Tip-A-Cop fundraiser is set for Chili’s Restaurant, 899 El Camino Real, on April 26 at 5 p.m. and will benefit the Special Olympics.

"We encourage the public to visit the Chili’s Restaurant to support Special Olympics and take photos with local law enforcement and Special Olympics Northern California athletes and representatives," San Bruno Police Officer Ryan Buckley said.

Officers will volunteer their time to help serve restaurant guest and collect tips for charity.

The event will go until 9 p.m.
